NIP-Q-UPGRADE (2022–2027) is the national implementation programme for strengthening quality of care in Swiss residential long-term care facilities. The Federal Quality Commission (FQC) has commissioned ARTISET together with the industry association CURAVIVA and senesuisse to implement the programme. It pursues three objectives: improving the data quality of the national medical quality indicators, supporting long-term care facilities in data-driven quality development, and introducing new quality indicators (pressure ulcers, medication review, advance care planning). Methodologically, the programme draws on implementation science: literature reviews and context analyses provide the foundation for developing measures that are tested in pilot phases and accompanied by process and outcome evaluations in preparation for national scale-up. Implementation follows a participatory approach involving long-term care facilities, software providers, federal and cantonal authorities, and subject-matter experts. Scientific leadership is held by the Institute of Nursing Science at the University of Basel, in collaboration with La Source (HES-SO) and SUPSI.

Implementation Science (ImpSci) verbessert und beschleunigt die Integration und Verbreitung von Forschungsergebnissen und evidenzbasierten Praktiken in die Gesundheitsversorgung. Sie konzentriert sich auch auf die De-Implementierung von geringwertiger Versorgung.

Ziel der Masterclass ist es, einen Überblick über die Theorien, Modelle, Frameworks, Designs, Methoden und Werkzeuge der ImpSci zu erhalten. Ein weiteres Ziel ist es, Wissen und Methoden der Implementation Science in Forschung und Praxis im Gesundheitswesen zu transferieren.

Die Teilnahme ist in zwei verschiedenen Tracks möglich:
